We are in a series called the Stewardship Shift, where we are discussing the principles of stewardship and treasures. In Matthew 6:21-24, we read that Jesus flips conventional wisdom upside down by teaching that our treasures direct our hearts and not the other way around. Simply put, He spells out three tests that challenge us to consider where we spend our time, energy and resources. By describing the treasure test, the vision test and the master test, Jesus expounds on the treasure principle. Ultimately these truths call us and challenge us to shift our stewardship toward Kingdom priorities.
